How to build a risk management culture - Silvana Muscella moderates expert panel at the Digital Agenda Assembly 2015

Leveraging CloudWATCH outputs and recommendations on security challenges that face SMEs when moving to the cloud, Silvana will chair a panel of experts who will discuss the challenges and opportunities for building a risk management culture to underpin the European Digital Single Market. In the development of hardware and software, functionality is still the overall priority while security aspects are often neglected and only added ex-post. Especially for the expanding business of cloud computing, there are still many open questions, such as how to secure access, safeguard content against security breaches or protect data privacy. Also, security of mobile networks has become of great importance as the number of malicious cyber incidents in this field has noticeably increased.
