The benefits of Cloud computing have already taken hold from a business perspective. Momentum is noew growing in scientific and research and development (R&D) settings, especially small groups of reseachers who cannot afford to build their infrastructure, while also avoiding the need for technical know-how. During this 30-minute webinar, Prof Paul Watson (pictured), Newcastle University, shares a good case study of collaboration over the cloud. It is a very good opportunity for us to validate to what extent the cloud helped boosting productivity, cutting costs without compromising R&D results.
