Cloudscape III brings insights into the benefits, drivers and barriers of Cloud computing with talks and interactive discussions focusin on the Digital Agenda for Europe, perspectives from the European Commission, user communities from scientific research, eGovernment, as well as commerical providers and users. High on the agenda are interoperability strategies, legal, policy and ethical issues, security, privacy and trust, and updates on the current activities of international standards bodies. Cloudscape III wraps up with a session on Building a consensus on cloud standards – The Lighthouse Initiative, highlighting the vision, scenarios and requirements that are informing the SIENA Roadmap on Grids and Clouds for eScience and Beyond. The current version of the SIENA Roadmap will be circulated at the event.
