COMMPLA Channels are dynamic, semantic-based personalised information retrieval environments encompassing a variety of dynamic web-based features, eTraining options and one-to-many interactions, connecting organisations anywhere in the world. As such they are strong enablers of a broad spectrum of communities and sectors that currently spans eProcurement, optical services, energy efficiency, cloud computing, global research data infrastructures, international co-operation and interoperability standards for distributed computing. COMMPLA has recently launched a new Channel for financial services broadening the scope of its current portfolio, which has much potential for growth. The new Channel is called Intermedia and specifically targets Italian representatives from the finance sector.

COMMPLA is driven by Whydotcom, Innotec, and Trust-IT Services as the founding companies, bringing their expertise in serving networks of enterprises, developing web-based software, providing multi-channel communication services and building on-line communities. With its headquarters in Pisa, Italy, COMMPLA operated all over Italy and beyond supporting any organisation looking to innovate their communication tools and services in a way that is immediately exploitable and economically sustainable.
