ALLPROS.eu, under the Technical Project Coordination of Trust-IT Services, has participated in SEMICON 2023, the annual convention on Semiconductors organised by SEMI Europe (co-located with electronica and productronica), which took place at the Messe München convention centre in Munich on 14-17 November 2023.

SEMICON is an essential annual convention for the world of semiconductors. It serves as a pivotal event for the electronics manufacturing industry in Europe, bringing together the entire spectrum of professionals across the electronics supply chain.

Trust-IT, the ALLPROS coordinator, was present at the event in conjunction with the project partner OpenForumEurope. The project’s presence was invaluable to pitch the ALLPROS solutions to relevant stakeholders and collect sign-ups for the Marketplace, a dynamic ecosystem where companies operating in the semiconductor sector will be able to showcase their solutions and interact with other companies and the project’s community. The project partners also took the opportunity to survey industry best practices to contribute to its goal of producing a set of policy recommendations and best practices overview for the semiconductor sector.

The convention features top-notch keynotes, market trend discussions, exhibitions, networking opportunities and specialised forums such as the Advanced Packaging Forum, Fab Management Forum, and sessions on sustainability, smart manufacturing, mobility, and MedTech.

SEMICON is meant to address challenges like supply chain disruptions, foster sustainability practices, and showcase innovations in processes, materials, and technologies.

ALLPROS is dedicated to reinforcing the European semiconductor sector by constructively interacting with all the relevant players in the field and providing a bridge between the European Commission and the industry, policy, and research stakeholders.
