Silvana is the founder and managing director of Trust-IT. Since founding the company in 2002 she has been shaping strategic vision and market positioning for the organisation while directly contributing to the growth of the team's competences. With a passion for digital marketing and communication, internationalization, and business development challenges related to leading edge ICT technologies, more recently she has been applying her skills to analysing the standardisation scenario in the distributed computing arena and semantic knowledge-based communication platforms in today’s networked society. Silvana has over 15 years of experience in communication initiatives with an international breadth. She has authored many ICT initiatives between Europe and International Co-operation Partner countries to help create collaboration opportunities resulting in sustainable co-operations. Has elaborating ICT training programmes for organisations & since 2002 been an external expert for the European Commission programmes. Silvana holds a BA Hons in modern Languages from Anglia University, Cambridge, UK. She is the co-founder and director of the European Chapter of the Open Grid Forum and has served as a director at large on the OGF Board of Directors. |

Hilary Hanahoe |

Hilary is a Trust-IT Director focusing on the company's international co-operation services & strategies coupled with high-level deployment of complex project life-cycle management. She has over 16 years of hands-on experience in scientifically co-ordinating complex international projects in ICT and, running and managing high-level, multi-platform events ranging from large scale conferences in India, South-East Asia to smaller, focused round table meetings on policy and ICT domain topics. Hilary has a deep commitment in building communications programmes that forge strong bonds and higher levels of involvement with organisations, decision-makers, influencers in the creation of ICT collaboration opportunities for Europeans in extra EU countries. She has been assisting both European and international partner country organisations in participating to European funded initiatives since 1998. Hilary has considerable knowledge of EU research and innovation policies on a global level gained through her role as the Italian National Contact Point for the European Commission’s ASIA@ITC Programme from 2001 to 2003, as Italian National Focal Point (NFP) for Italy in the framework of the EU Telematics/Language Engineering Programme from 1999 to 2002. With a BA from University College Dublin, Ireland she is always keen to maintain an exceptional client service and engaging stakeholders in new ways to build co-operations. |

Nick Ferguson is a Project Manager at Trust-IT Services interacting with international clients and working closely with business and research communities around the globe. With excellent communication, writing and editing skills, Nick adds his expertise on communication strategies, developing marketing and business plans. Nick is also Co-chair of the Open Grid Forum Digital Repositories Research Group and has experience of international event organisation. With over 14 years experience of working with international individuals of a wide variety of nationalities, he possess excellent understanding of various cultural differences. Nick also has a BA hons in politics and sociology and is currently completing an Msc Masters in Management. |

Stephanie Parker |

Stephanie is communications specialist and Project Manager at Trust-IT. She investigates the value-add and potential pitfalls of emerging Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by directly interacting with technology innovators and end-user communities. Her communication skills span copywriting, marketing campaigns, integrated communication tools and Web2.0 communication platforms. She regularly conducts interviews with pioneers in her specialisation areas: cloud computing, digital libraries, interoperability & standards, the semantic web and scientific data infrastructures with target audiences firmly in mind. She has built strong relationships with editors of leading ICT journals and places special emphasis on the impact of new technologies on small enterprises and research groups chiefly in Europe. Her background is in inter-disciplinary research in the Humanities and syllabus design for the teaching of English for specific purposes working with both private and public organisations. |

Sara is a Telecommunications engineer from the University of Parma, Italy and obtained her master degree in logistics and organization for industry and commerce in 2005. She is currently a Project Manager whose expertise lies in the area of B2B business intelligence and innovative services in the sectors of: Internationalisation in the banking sector and specifically: IT-Operational and Financial Risk Management. She has carried out extensive market analysis research focusing on the business intelligence market for Small to Medium sized Enterprises related to credit rating. Her expertise lies in analytical reporting, research and problem solving primarily related to international bank procedures and technological solutions available to information providers at a European level. Now, Sara provides a forward thinking and fresh approach to understanding community needs in the area of ICT web-centric communication platforms and authors and develops various ICT platforms in an international context for different user communities, namely: distributed computing, internationalization and data infrastructures. In her early career Sara was responsible for a number of national projects dealing with finding new and optimal solutions in logistic flow procedures for internal and external services. She has exceptional qualities in putting together complex, high-level events and forging alliances between European partner international co-operation countries. |

Sara Pittonet Gaiarin is a Project Manager at Trust-IT carrying out international co-operation building and communication activities for ICT initiatives primarily and develops research and market analysis around specialised R&D topics. She focuses on creating innovative and cutting edge, regular news releases and elaborates web content management activities. She is also a business developer for the knowledge-based technological platforms created by the group. Sara obtained a Masters degree in International and Diplomatic sciences from the University of Trieste, Italy, with the final dissertation targeted on EU financial instruments for cooperation with third countries. Prior to this she obtained a BA in International Relations from the University of Trieste. After a period spent at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rome, she specialised in European Funding and Project Management at the Sole 24 Ore Business School, Milan Italy. Sara has been an active journalist since 2005 writing regular features and articles for Il Gazzettino. | |

Timea Biro received her Master’s degree in Management in 2009 from the University “Lucian Blaga” Sibiu, Faculty of Economic Sciences and in 2007 obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy-Social Communication and Public relations with a final thesis on Human Rights, from "Babes-Bolyai" University, Cluj-Napoca. She has prior work experience in media, as a journalist and news editor, SMEs suppliers and commercial relations, banking and insurance products and services related marketing. She has followed training courses on public administration and project management issues. Her fields of expertise lie in communication, crisis and conflict management, product promotional strategies and customer care in the field of insurance and the financial banking services. |

Gianluca is an experienced graphic, web manager. He has over twenty years of experience in media communications and graphic design. More recently he focuses his skills in semantic web delivery and knowledge-based platforms with a keen eye to focus on electrical digital arts and digital post-production – software & mounting. Gianluca has extensive experience in web page authoring (Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, several Content Management Systems). Since 2004 he has specialised his skills in authoring websites according to W3C standards (XHTML - CSS2). His work involves working with digital post-production programmes including: Adobe Premiere, in.Sync Speed Razor and above all Apple FinaCut Pro. Typographic technical skills on Rotaprint & Gestetner machines. He has an array of international customers who return to him for his loyalty and dedication. |

Sonia Arrighini |

Sonia is Trust-IT’s Office and HR manager. She runs the day to day management of the company. She deals with international suppliers and customers and liaises with both the Italian and UK financial accountancy offices. Her job entails dealing with the complete administrative management of all of the company’s office activities. She projects and manages the company’s cashflows, and maintains the product and service lines active. She also liaises directly with international clients, partners on an individual basis. Previously she worked as an administrative responsible and sales & customer manager for a French hardware company. Part of her activity involved dealing with retail and distribution. Her role evolved to becoming a logistic manager dealing with customer care. Her principal studies involve Accountancy and Political Science |
