On 15 March 2011 Robert Madelin, Director-General, DG Information Society and Media of the European Commission opened Cloudscape III with a Call to Action in support of the EC's Cloud computing strategy with emphasis on the role of our SIENA initiative: “the potential benefits of cloud computing in business, public services and scientific research are widely recognised. Efforts like the SIENA standardisation roadmap will be very useful in making these benefits materialise”.

Over two hundred people joined staff at Trust-IT and Innotec for the opening of their new offices on the 17-18 September 2009. For the occasion, an array of exquisite paintings from the Haitian painter Jacqueline Nesti Joseph and her husband Victor Nesti were on show. The artist attended the opening to discuss her paintings to all those interested.
