ICT Proposer's Day 2017 Budapest Trust-IT Services Ltd SpeakNGI

From 9th to 10th November 2017, Budapest (Hungary) will host the ICT Proposers’ Day, a much-awaited networking event taking place once a year and focusing on European ICT Research & Innovation for the Horizon 2020 Work Programme. The 2-day event will offer an extraordinary opportunity to build quality partnerships with academics, researchers, industrial stakeholders, SMEs and government actors from all over Europe with the main intent of finding partners to answer the 2018 Calls for Proposals of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme in the field of Information & Communication Technologies and Future and Emerging Technologies (FET).

What’s new on the horizon?
In the context of innovation in Europe, it is crucial to note how the Next Generation Internet (NGI) is gaining momentum amongst researchers and business operators, but a lot still needs to be done to define and highlight the innovations that will make Europe a trusted hub globally.
The best way to identify priorities in NGI research and innovation is by offering all key stakeholders, including start-ups and entrepreneurs, a space for sharing their expertise and requirements: This is the ultimate goal of the NGI Consultation Platform.
Trust-IT, one of the SMEs contributing to the NGI initiative, will be present in Budapest at ICT Proposers’ Day to officially launch the new NGI Consultation Platform.
Researchers, entrepreneurs and innovators interested in NGI are invited to the engaging networking session that will take place on 10/11 from 9:30 to 11:00 (find all details here). The networking session will focus especially on 2 calls:
  • The NGI Open Internet Initiative (ICT-24-2018: 3 Research & Innovation (R&I) Actions; EUR 21 Million; 2-3 years; 1 R&I project per topic: Privacy and trust enhancing technologies, Decentralized data governance, Discovery and identification technologies; supported by 3 Coordination and support actions (CSAs); EUR 7 million))
  • The EU-US collaboration on NGI (ICT-31-2018; 2 CSAs (EUR 2.5 Million; 3 years; CSA 1: Organise & other support activities; CSA2: A Fellowship programme).
