ESCAPE to the Future - Final Event

We are pleased to announce that the ESCAPE Final Event will take place between 25 and 26 October 2022 at the Royal Belgium Institute of Natural Sciences in Brussels (Belgium).

The ESCAPE project invites you to join them remotely. 

The event is open to all and free of charge.

Purpose and Scope

As the ESCAPE project is coming to its end, the cluster members will share their results and achievements and discuss the future of the ESCAPE Collaboration. ESCAPE to the Future will be dedicated to presenting ESCAPE services, achievements, future challenges and good practices.

Who should attend?

ESCAPE project members, as well as members of other Science Clusters, EOSC-Association members, ESFRI and other Research Infrastructure representatives. Astrophysics, Particle and Nuclear Physics scientific community members and all those interested in the ESCAPE services and EOSC overall.

Our role

Trust-IT organised this event, taking care of various activities:
1) Contacted the venue to organise the event at their premises.
2) Scouted and hired a technical partner to take care of the hybrid connection ad provide all the video recordings after the end of the event.
3) Created a series of graphic materials to promote the event (videos, social media banners, website banners, etc.).
4) Promoted the event in an omnichannel way – e.g. social media posts, LinkedIn event – and disseminated content to relevant stakeholders through an outreach campaign.
5) Liaised with the speakers to collect their presentations ahead of time
6) Organised various interviews with the speakers to be used for the "post-event" video
7) Prepared various dissemination materials to be used for live social media coverage of the event
8) Assigned specific resources to provide online support for presential and online participants 
9) Arranged the catering service, taking into account the participants’ various preferences and intolerances. 
10) Created a content-rich post-event report to share the highlights and lessons learned from the event.
