Background
Experience cybersecurity training that’s practical, immersive, and directly applicable to your work. Hosted by the NERO Project consortium, this in-person session in Pisa offers a rare opportunity to go beyond theory and build real-world skills in spotting, stopping, and staying ahead of cyber threats.
This fully hands-on event invites participants to train using advanced cybersecurity tools and solutions provided by NERO partners — all based on real-world scenarios. Participants are kindly asked to bring a laptop, tablet, or smartphone to make the most of the interactive sessions.
Attendees will be given the opportunity to explore different training paths during the session, with three distinct experiences designed to match their needs and interests. They can immerse themselves in KIOKU, a scenario-based cybersecurity training where they will face realistic incidents drawn from the healthcare, finance, and logistics sectors. Here, they will make critical decisions, see immediate feedback on your actions, and develop the confidence to respond effectively under pressure.
If they are looking to deepen your technical skills, explore the MMT track, where they will get hands-on with the Montimage Monitoring Tool suite. This session will show them how to detect network anomalies, ensure policy compliance, and analyze threats with clarity and precision — turning complex monitoring into an actionable skillset.
For those in small and medium-sized enterprises, Network Security Essentials offers practical and accessible strategies to protect your business from today’s most common cyber threats. No technical background is needed — just a readiness to learn how to safeguard your organisation with simple, effective measures.
