StandICT.eu, a flagship initiative in the field of ICT standardisation, has recently released two key reports – the 'Citiverse Landscape Report' and the 'Future Recommendations for ICT Standardisation.' These publications contribute to the understanding and shaping of the future of ICT standards, offering invaluable insights for professionals and stakeholders in the field.

The 'Citiverse Landscape Report' provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of standards in the Citiverse, a term encapsulating the evolving sphere of cities and urban technologies. This report lays out a detailed landscape of existing standards and identifies critical gaps, offering a roadmap for future standardisation efforts in this rapidly advancing domain.

Simultaneously, the 'Future Recommendations Report' serves as a guiding document for the ICT standardisation community. It offers strategic recommendations for upcoming standardisation activities, addressing the challenges and opportunities in the ICT sector. This report is an essential tool for professionals looking to align their strategies with the latest trends and directives in ICT standardisation, leveraging on the experience gained via StandICT.eu since 2018.

 

Our role

As the Technical Coordinator and Communications leader of the StandICT.eu project, now in its third edition, Trust-IT Services has contributed to the development and has led the dissemination of these reports. Overall, in the project, Trust-IT is also responsible for managing the  Grants platform used to collect and evaluate applications from standardisation experts working on projects that promise to make significant contributions to various ICT standardisation fields.

These latest publications from StandICT.eu, reflect the project's dedication to advancing the dialogue and action in ICT standardisation. They serve as valuable resources for those looking to navigate the complexities of this field and contribute to shaping a more interconnected and standardised digital future.
