As we approach World Standards Day, Trust-IT Services proudly stands as a proactive contributor to European standardisation initiatives. In alignment with the European Union's vision for standardisation, outlined in the European Standardisation Strategy, Trust-IT Services is actively engaged in three important projects: HSbooster.eu, StandICT.eu, and SEEBLOCKS. These projects are at the forefront of advancing standardisation, fostering innovation, and promoting collaboration, in sync with the EU's aspirations for a standardised, innovative, and collaborative future.

HSbooster.eu: Pioneering Harmonised Standards

HSbooster.eu is a pilot project contributing to elevating European standardisation impact. It offers free standardisation guidance services to Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, and Digital Europe research and innovation projects. With the aim of nurturing the next generation of standardisation experts and strong support from an Expert Advisory Group, the project aligns with the European Union's 2023 standardisation goals. It effectively bridges the gap between innovation and standardisation experts, contributing to a shared vision for a better world.

StandICT.eu: Boosting European Standardisation for ICT

StandICT.eu 2026 is committed to promoting the development and adoption of European ICT standards. In our fast-paced digital world, the importance of up-to-date standards cannot be underestimated. We actively encourage European involvement in global standards development to reinforce Europe's technological leadership. StandICT.eu also offers funding opportunities for standardisation experts to participate in SDO activities through calls for proposals.

SEEBLOCKS: Standardising Blockchain for Sustainability

The SEEBLOCKS project centres on the standardisation of blockchain technology, with a specific focus on its potential for sustainability. By establishing common standards for blockchain applications in areas such as supply chain management and renewable energy, SEEBLOCKS is promoting transparency, security, and sustainability. This groundbreaking initiative is poised to revolutionise industries and advocate for environmentally responsible practices.

Our role

COMMpla is the project coordinator for HSbooster.eu, with Trust-IT as an affiliate partner. We bring our expertise to HSbooster.eu, leading in areas of knowledge, IPR, and ethics. Together we are establishing an online platform for 750 projects with standardisation experts, offering training, automated assessment tools, and robust community engagement to promote the initiative and its impact on European standardisation.

Trust-IT leads a consortium with five expert partners to manage StandICT.eu 2026. Our role includes overall project coordination, creating an online Facility Platform, and ensuring efficient grant management. Trust-IT also handles branding and sustainability strategies for the project

As the Project Coordinator for SEEBLOCKS, Trust-IT is managing project activities, creating a streamlined web platform for open calls, leading cooperation with other blockchain initiatives, and overseeing outreach and dissemination efforts to engage stakeholders, promote European values, and establish a lasting legacy for the initiative.
