Meet the team

As a Marketing Analyst, I use my Lean Six Sigma skills to improve workflows utilised in communication and dissemination services and I actively contribute to several pan-European initiatives. In particular, I am currently part of the team developing the European forum of the software research community I am also involved in HPC initiatives in material design at the exascale, and I am supporting the secretariat of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). I hold a BSc degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and I am a Yellow Belt certified and Green Belt trained Lean Six Sigma practitioner.

Being the Senior Admin Officer at Trust-IT for several years has allowed me to develop a wide range of administration skills. I really enjoy mastering my daily tasks. I particularly like tackling something new each day, which makes me truly love my job. I have an MSc in business economics and before joining Trust-IT I dealt with import/export within the fashion industry.
I love maintaining a genuine, human side at work and with people in general - and they say I am particularly good at it, too!

I hold a BSc in Digital Humanities from the University of Pisa. Before joining Trust-IT Services, I built my professional background in graphic design, where I sharpened my ability to blend aesthetics with functionality. Now, I focus on creating responsive and user-friendly web experiences using CMR platforms like Drupal and WordPress. I am involved in the development of various European funded projects and programmes platforms, always eager to embrace new challenges.

Junior software developer with a BSc in Information Science Engineering Degree (in progress from the University of Bologna, (IT), I love to work with and try everything connected with developing code, web and software. Experience in an array of programming languages such as Java and HTML5, CSS, Python, Javascript & jQuery, PHP, MySQL. For frameworks: Material Design Web Components, Materialize CSS, Laravel framework, Inertia.js, MithrilJS. Deep understanding of the Laravel Framework and bundlers: Laravel Mix and Vite. Enjoy problem solving. I like playing videogames, geeking out with my devices, staying up-to-date with the latest tech-related news (primarly about Windows and Android OS) and watching TV/Web series.

With a master's degree in economics from the University of Pisa and previous work experience in supply management at public administrations, at Trust-IT I use my skills to carry out daily accounting and administration activities. I strive to be a precise, punctual and proactive person who my colleagues can rely on. Together with the other members of the Admin Office, we preside over the processes and procedures that our team needs to excel in the international arena.

I am a Senior Software Developer at Trust-IT and I specialise in development, testing, and validation of digital solutions at large and in delivering the latest eCommerce and eLearning platforms in particular. Also, Drupal is one of my best friends. I hold an MSc in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pisa and my passions outside of work are football and sport journalism. I try and put the same tenacity in my IT job as I do in my journalistic flair.

Born and raised in Pisa and social at heart, I am a passion-driven communicator, and I like good books, good people, rock concerts, and cats. I am also a millennial with a knack for communication and social media. I graduated in Communication Studies from the University of Pisa, Italy with a special focus on advertising and was lucky enough to get the chance to continue my studies in Belgium, where I spent five years of my life studying, delving deeply in different fields and projects, from working in a creative agency, back again to European funded projects, and the SaaS environment, all areas I worked in whilst transiting into adulthood. When time came for me to go back to the motherland, Trust-IT opened its arms for me, and I am truly honoured to be able to be part of this amazing team and contribute to its mission with my creativity and passion. 

I am a Graphic & UI/UX Designer with more than 15 years’ worth of experience in marketing and communication initiatives. I love my job and all the opportunity for growth that it brings. I have recently specialised as a Growth Hacker and I enjoy applying as much as I can the basic concepts of simplicity and consistency to web-centred solutions. I am a very curious and dynamic person, I love good wine and good cuisine, and I am always very grateful for what I have and what I have managed to achieve. My main goal is to continuously improve myself - both as a professional and as a person.

With a BSc degree in Computer Engineering, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science specialising in ICT Solution Architect. Over the years, my passion for web development has evolved, and feel grateful that I get to do what I love doing as part of my professional growth. I am always eager to acquire and learn new skills in terms of technologies and programming languages because I enjoy staying updated in the latest trends and applying them in my work as a full-stack developer. One of my many passions is board games because I see them as a way to bring people together. Additionally, in my free time, I enjoy dedicating myself to my projects.

As a Project Manager, I focus on planning and executing of marketing and communication strategies for large pan-European initiatives. I started my career as a journalist and editor and eventually developed my digital skills and vision. I combine my marketing expertise with advanced business knowledge to help organisations achieve their goals. I have an MBA from the University of Pisa and a BSc in Business Informatics from the AMA International University Bahrain. I'm active in various NGOs and my passion is centred around martial arts.

Wanting to acquire professional qualifications, whilst pursuing my Master's degree in Digital Humanities from the University of Pisa, was the right balance and stimulus I was looking for. Particularly, to take on new challenges in a tech-driven and innovation-rich environment like the one at Trust-IT. Once my internship concluded here at Trust-IT, I now feel more confident to undergo more stimulating roles here that are being assigned to me. I am always excited to embark on novel and complex IT projects and am highly motivated to put my university skills and creativity to the test. In my free time, I read, dance, and study new technologies & design trends in the web domain.

As a Marketing Analyst at Trust-IT, I am proud to use my skills to create and implement digital marketing strategies that help the European Open Science Cloud and other Research and Innovation projects. I am also involved in the fields of cybersecurity, ICT standardisation, ontologies and particle physics to support dissemination and stakeholder engagement. When not at work, you can find me swimming, riding my bike, reading Marvel comic books, or stumping people with my magic card tricks.

Originally from Pisa but a true global citizen. My journey has taken me across the Netherlands, China, & Peru, where I've built a solid foundation in EU Studies and International Security Studies. Professionally, I've had the opportunity to work at the Embassy of Malta in Rome, NATO Allied Joint Force Command in the Netherlands as a policy analyst in the Civil-Military Cooperation Division, and the NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence in Rome as part of the Research and Lessons Learned team. My passion for EU projects embedded in international and multicultural environments has driven my career, making me enthusiastic about joining Trust-IT Services and their goals and mission. I will be focusing on projects in Cybersecurity, Open Science & FAIR Data, Mission Soil & Agriculture, and research software infrastructure. Outside of work, you can find me immersed in crime novels or plotting my next board game strategy.

After nearly a decade working in international & legal environments, I decided to apply my expertise in a more creative way and to analyse how to engage people & understand sustainable measures for R&D results. My strong analytical and communication skills enable me to translate complex concepts into clear, accessible messages. At Trust-IT, I leverage my expertise to ensure key project insights are effectively shared with the right audiences. I’m excited to contribute to projects involving pan-European regulations, Open Science initiatives, digital infrastructure, and ICT standards, bridging the gap between technical advancements and stakeholder engagement with a lasting impact. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, spending time with family and friends, and working on DIY projects.

I am an enthusiastic sinologist, passionate about languages, words and communication.  I graduated in Languages and International Relations with a special focus on China, where I spent several years enjoying the complexities of such a diverse environment.
Previously, I was China Strategic Partnership Developer and scientific and academic Event Coordinator at Sant'Anna School's Institute of Management in Pisa. Additionally,  I supported Technology and Innovation Transfer researchers as a Communication Assistant at the National Biodiversity Future Centre. Highly creative with a positive disposition and with passion for languages and people. I enjoy cooking and I am an amateur analog photographer.

With an academic background in Translation and Interpreting and Design of Sustainable Tourism Systems, and a Master in Digital Marketing for International Business from the Specialised School for Language Mediators SSML Pisa, Italy I've always been driven to exploring communication within global environments especially in ICT.  
 
Cultural immersions in both Ireland and Spain, combined with professional experience in Marketing & Communication in the tourism, academic and healthcare sectors – working on digital processes from websites, social media channels experience, to crafting promotional materials, and coordinating events have further fuelled my passion for international digital marketing, especially in the areas of telecommunication, Mission soil strategies and sustainable fisheries in Europe.

When I am not working, I’m likely immersed in some culinary experience, challenging friends to a tennis match, or planning my next travel adventure.

During my academic journey studying for a BSc in Digital Humanities from the University of Pisa, I have discovered and delved into the world of UX and UI, areas that have deeply fascinated me. This interest led me to undertake an internship at Trust IT Services, where I was able to perfect and expand my skills with the team here.  I love challenges, and in this environment, I have the opportunity to test not only my professional abilities but also to grow personally in an international, stimulating context where I can put my UX skills to good use. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and travelling.

With a BSc in Information Science Engineering Degree (in progress) from the University of Bologna, I am a junior software developer highly motivated to put my skills and learning capacities for the good of the company. I feel privileged to work here at Trust-IT, where I can both use and put into practice my expertise in the workplace, but also gain new knowledge & skills from my experienced colleagues. I love hobbies and have so many that range from reading manga, playing board-games, which is my favourite one: spending time with a nice aperitivo with old & new friends.

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawing and developing software. In 1994 I discovered for myself the world of the web and I have merged those two passions of mine. I have witnessed the constant growth of the usage of web CMSs and I have developed my skills around the advanced usage of them - with all the graphical themes that can possibly be handled - moving from Pearl to environments such as Zope/Python, right up to the widespread PHP-based CMSs. I simply love to translate software coding into graphics.  Nowadays, this is UI/UX design and I think I have always done it since before it even had a name. I have several hobbies, but nothing pleases me more than playing one of my wonderful guitars.

My mother's from Seattle, my father's from Tuscany, and I was born in Marseille. That's my go-to intro! I've lived most of my life in Sardinia, until my longing for a more open & diverse context lead me to Trento for a Master's in EU & International Relations and a Washington D.C. internship at the Italian Embassy. I graduated in 2023 and was lucky enough to run into Trust-IT, which has welcomed me with open arms and provided me with stimulating new challenges for me to tackle while also contributing to the European cause. My hobbies are quite eclectic, but I always enjoy reading and writing sci-fi and fantasy and playing video/board/card games.

Born and raised in Sicily, home of the active volcanoes Stromboli and Etna,  I bring an eruption of positivity to Trust-IT. I graduated in International Relations and Economic Development from the University of Florence and then funnelled my passion into Digital Marketing, Entrepeneurship and Innovation at the Rome Business School. I enjoyed taking part in national & international relations initiatives, across political and economic spheres, to develop my professional and personal growth. I now have the opportunity to work here in Trust-IT which combines the central pillars of my studies with my passions. In my spare time you can find me reading a good crime book or walking on the beach getting some Vitamin D!

Science enthusiast & food nerd. I am a food technologist by training with a Bachelor and Masters degree in Food Science and Technology, I hold a PhD in media and social media portrayal of genetically modified foods from the University of Sheffield's Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures, UK. After several years in academia looking at the way innovation is perceived and portrayed, I realized my true passion was to support scientists showcase their research and achievements. So, I nurtured my skills in science communication, capacity building and knowledge exchange by creating science dissemination content and managing science related educational projects in the private sector. At Trust-IT I put my nerdiness and passion for science storytelling into practice by supporting the dissemination of projects on digital innovation, sustainability and Earth Science.

An avid lover of doing “computer stuff” from a really early age and this then was reflected in my studies and my chosen career path. I obtained a BsC degree in Computer Science at the University of Pisa as I’m always keen on learning more about new technologies. When I’m not nose deep in learning about tech, I adore reading comics, watching films and TV series and playing board and card games with my friends.

I have worked in a variety of areas in software engineering over my career and have enjoyed all of them. I find the European R&D environment to be one of the most exciting on the international scene today and I am glad to bring my experience to the collaborative initiatives that Trust-IT is involved in. I graduated in computer science from Yale University and the University of California at Berkeley. I currently serve as an Associate Editor of IEEE Software Magazine for the Management area.

I have been passionate about computer science from an early age, immersing myself in blogs and videos to expand my knowledge, which ultimately has shaped my academic and future career path. With a BSc in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Bologna. I am now combining my academic skills that I have learnt as a junior developer working on international science and commercial projects of the European Union and eager to keep learning and refining my skills every day. In my free time, I enjoy playing board games and exploring new territories. 

As a Senior Project Manager, I enjoy working closely with business and research communities around the globe, supporting them in their outreach efforts. In particular, I have several years of experience in mapping the cybersecurity Research & Innovation landscape and providing organisations with resources in this area. I am also involved in various initiatives that are implementing the vision of the European Open Science Cloud. I also lead the dissemination modules for the European Commission’s Horizon Results Booster for Trust-IT, having previously coordinated the EC’s Common Dissemination Booster.
Before joining Trust-IT I was a teacher and I have an MSc in Educational Management.

With an MA in EU affairs from the College of Europe and professional experience in design and communications, I feel honoured to contribute to TRUST-IT’s mission. As a communications specialist I get the chance to employ my skills in content creation, social media management, and design, while continuously learning about pan-European initiatives. I really believe in the power digitalisation has to boost innovation. This is why I spend time on mastering UI/UX design to facilitate people’s interactions with the technological world.

With educational experiences in Spain and Russia, my strong interest in accounting and internal auditing led me to the administration office of Trust-IT.
I am firmly convinced that learning is a life-long journey and I feel grateful to have the opportunity to apply and deepen my knowledge in such a collaborative and international environment. When I’m not working, you can find me cooking or playing with my German shepherd.

As a BA in Communications and Performing Arts at the University of Pisa, I have found in Trust- IT Services the best way to apply my creativity and communication skills whilst learning within a dynamic, international & always innovative environment.

I get to work with so many different cultures and I appreciate that Trust-IT embraces the study work approach which allows me to contribute to the company’s mission and projects. I get to expand on my expertise in digital solutions and strategic communication and then implement these learning s also in my university studies.

When I’m not at work or studying, you can find me playing Subbuteo, again on an international level which I love or spending time with my friends and my family, trying to always keep a smile on my face!

After some years in Academia, I am now exploiting my research and communication skills at Trust-IT, where I am involved in a number of innovative projects, mainly linked to Open Science & ICT Standardisation. I hold an Msc in International Management from Bocconi University & a PhD in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano. I love learning about new cultures & have lived in Germany & China for research & study reasons. I am passionate about digital innovation, a field in which I have been working as a Researcher since 2015.  In my free time, I love languages & theatre!

I am currently involved in a variety of projects linked to Open Science, cybersecurity, High-Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence and ontologies.

My professional passions are related to circular economy and sustainability challenges. I am curious to learn new things all of the time. You usually find me nose deep, reading books about subjects that I know nothing about or learning new languages.

Holding a degree in Graphic and Visual Communication, I love digital design and I specialise in UI/UX Design & Front-End development. I can't help but coding design in order to shape our world through art. I follow the thread of new features about design and technology, always striving to be up-to-date with the latest technologies and solutions. When I'm not doing this I follow my passion, surfing & mountain climbing!

A Digital Marketer with a background in web design, front-end development and digital analytics, now in love with conversion-rate optimisation (CRO) and UX. With over 20 years’ worth of work experience in web and digital marketing, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of  challenging B2B and B2C projects prior to joining Trust-IT. Passionate about everything tech and digital, I try to keep up with the latest trends - at least when I'm not hiking or otherwise enjoying the mountains for ultra-trail running.

I am a Web and Graphic Designer, with a particular gusto for illustration. I see design as an opportunity for problem-solving and as a way to create memorable user experiences. I am passionate about UX and front-end development, building responsive web sites with tailored HTML and CSS. I have had several years of experience at European level and I worked for several private clients before joining Trust-IT. I love music and hiking, and I am a bit of a dreamer.

Born in Moldova and raised in Parma, Italy, I welcome new challenges with curiosity & passion. My academic journey began with Foreign Languages in Parma, leading to a master’s in International Cooperation & Development in Milan. Since then, I’ve dedicated my professional career to transforming complex information into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences. My work across private, institutional, & public sectors, both at the EU and national levels, has strengthened my commitment to using communication as a tool for positive change. 
Whether diving into motorsports or astronomy, I look to always expand my knowledge. Joining Trust-IT offers me the chance to learn something new every day whilst merging skills with my passion to make a meaningful impact on society.

With a background in accountancy and many years of experience in the field, I really enjoy working with our multicultural team. Always trying to lend a hand with administrative and organisational issues, I find a way to learn something new every day and I am always amazed by the variety of challenges we are asked to resolve.

Always been drawn to stories—whether in books, media, or the world of international relations. My journey has taken me from studying Political Science & Media and Communication Science at the University of Bremen (with a focus on Middle East studies) and finishing my master’s in international relations at the Constructor University. I’m a fan of the cold weather (where I feel most at home), good books, &  deep conversations. Balancing my love for learning with a passion for communication, I’m am intrigued about how politics in interplay with media shape and influence the world around us.

With a background in Humanities & Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Music, Digital Communication is now my world. Having been born in Italy and having lived many years abroad, I love to be part of international teams and working in ICT, helping research and science to increase their impact by disseminating results and engaging stakeholders.

I am a passionate Project Manager with an international vision, working towards transforming societies into better places to live in. I have developed several years of experience in digital marketing and communication, always aiming to make the message as informative as possible to various communities revolving around ICT innovation. Truly, this is the job I chose so as to have fun in my daily life. I also find peace in little things and in the art of photography, writing and acting. I am hoping to get cracking on saxophone and swing dancing. I love the sea, travelling, cycling, good stories and I make mean soups!

My passion for truly understanding technology is what makes my day whizz by. Deeply interested in programming and computer architecture since forever, I dive into digital every day and I love learning new things, getting antsy when things become static. Thankfully, the continuous evolution of ICT and the pulling from our portfolio of diverse projects are very gratifying.
With an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Pisa, I have over 15 years of experience in the ICT field and I strive to maintain an agnostic approach while presiding over our technological vision and methodological approach to product and service innovation.

People are the greatest show on Earth, communicating what they do is what I was born for. As a Senior Project Manager, I undertake responsibilities for the implementation of complex digital marketing strategies, particularly in the context of pan-European Open Science initiatives. I combine project management skills with a professional journalist background. I also strive to deliver effective web-based platforms and communication and marketing plans in domains ranging from Data Infrastructures to the Blue Economy, and from Healthcare to Space Technologies. With a Master’s degree in International & Diplomatic Sciences from the University of Trieste, I have put down roots in Tuscany with my family.

After working as a research and innovation project designer within the EU bubble, I realised it was time for me to start working on the execution of those projects. At Trust-IT, I leverage my experience in communication, journalism & policy analysis to maximise the impact of EU research & outreach, especially now in ICT. Born and raised within walking distance of the sea and with the sound of the waves accompanying my every experience, I’m drawn to it like a magnet. I hold an MSc in Political Science & International Relations and have lived in Brussels after initial work experiences in editorial offices. Now I live a stone's throw from the river Arno - not the sea but, hey, it’s Tuscany right?

Originally from the coastal town of Kotor, Montenegro, I am delighted continue my professional career in Pisa. For the past 8 years I have lived around Europe, while obtaining a BA in History from University College London, and a master’s degree in international relations from Central European University, based in Vienna.Previously, I held the position of Programme Coordinator for a New York-based non-profit organisation, developing and facilitating incubator programmes for aspiring Start-up founders. Working with ambitious and creative minds of the Western Balkans ecosystem, I have developed a passion for storytelling.Trust-IT presents a unique opportunity to work across various fields that affect our local and global communities in an ICT context and hone my communication skills. Within an international team, I am excited to contribute to projects related to biodiversity, AI & robotics, Open Science, and more.

Born and raised in a small village on the hills of Florence, I’m passionate about politics in all its facets and levels, from local to European ones. So I decided to transform this passion into a BA in European Studies at the University of Florence – Cesare Alfieri school, with a Master thesis focused on the path of environmental organizations in the EU and the EU Green Deal. Since graduating, I have always worked within the field of EU funded programmes and projects, first as a consultant & then as a communication and dissemination manager of Horizon Europe projects, with a focus on renewable energies. In my experience, communicating projects in an efficient and comprehensible way is pivotal for achieving results and successfully disseminating them to our stakeholders. This will be my main goal as Communication, Dissemination and Outreach specialist in Trust-IT.

Driven by a deep-seated passion, curiosity and commitment, I thrive in my role as a Communication, Dissemination & Outreach specialist. I have two Master’s from the University of Warsaw, the first in Cultural Studies and the second in Philosophy. As a member of the Trust-IT team, I feel privileged to actively contribute to a diverse range of thematic domains, from standardisation, blockchain, biodiversity, circular economy, and EU soil mission. European projects demand both rigour and passion, making this work exceptionally rewarding. Poland-born, Italian by choice, with gov't, research, media, and private sector experience - I'm all about connecting: bridging words, people, projects, and ideas.

I am privileged to have been able to follow my passion for graphic design since 1996, starting in desktop publishing and prepress and eventually growing out into multimedia and web design.
My main interest is to design, develop, and evolve coordinated branding and web presence for initiatives across various disciplines and research fields.
When not working, I enjoy reading comics, cooking (traditional Italian and Japanese food), and visiting monuments.

I hold a PhD in Polymer Physics from Freiburg’s Albert-Ludwigs-University. My first job was with the scientific publisher Springer where in 1997 I got involved in my first ever European Commission funded research project. Apart from short interruptions I have never since left the EC research funding environment, coordinating all kind of projects over the years, providing strategic advice, running trainings or info events, chairing the EC working group of the Leibniz Gemeinschaft and for the last 8 ½ years managing 3 Life Science Research Infrastructure cluster projects. At Trust-IT, I am coordinating the RI’s cluster of cluster project “OSCARS - Open Science Clusters’ Action for Research and Society” in cooperation with CNRS-LAPP in France. When not working I enjoy reading, riding my horse, singing in a choir, listening to classic music, and trying to organise my two sons of 17 & 20.

I have a strong interest in innovative digital technologies, which, combined with my many other passions, is something that truly defines my professional profile.
What I pursue with my job is the ability to infuse energy, passion, commitment, and to inspire others while getting inspiration from them.

Thrilled to join the Trust-IT team as a Communication, Dissemination, &  Outreach Specialist, where I combine my expertise & passions to drive impactful, digital initiatives in innovative, scientific ICT projects. With a Master's degree in International Relations, I began exploring emerging technologies while researching China's energy transition and the EU's role in this global shift for my thesis. This interest has since grown into a professional focus, with ongoing contributions to online magazines, think tanks, and associations, where I write about energy policies, history, politics, and advancements in fields such as AI & Cybernetics.  

Over the past seven years, I have lived and worked in the Czech Republic & Spain, immersing myself in multicultural environments and building a wealth of international experience, particularly in the tourism industry.  

Beyond my professional life, I am an avid book lover, often found browsing bookstores, immersed in nature with a good read, studying new languages, or soaking in the energy of live rock concerts from the front row. 

The ICT world that I am involved with helps me bring together my passion for digital marketing, technology and communication. At work, I like to bring my collaborative approach to each of the initiatives that I manage or I contribute to, always maintaining a well-developed hearing ability to the clients’ needs.
After earning my degree Digital Humanities at Pisa University, I have been managing a wide range of clients and research & innovation initiatives in challenging areas such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, and open science.

I specialise in the video production process, from scripting to production and post-production. From childhood, I record everything on my camera and today I am professionally involved in exactly what I have always dreamt of doing.
Challenged by my colleagues here at Trust-IT, I create videos around scientific content, just as well as I do, commercial messages.  When I manage to transfer to the screen what I see through a camera, delivering a clear message and possibly entertaining the audience, I have achieved my ultimate goal.
