DICE At EUDAT Summer School

DICE is proud to be working with EUDAT in the organisation and execution of the EUDAT Summer School 2023. Taking place on 26-30 June 2023 in Kajaani, Finland.

This edition, organised as a collaborative effort between EUDAT and the DICE project, aims to strengthen the skills required to excel in data management, getting the participants geared up to manage and process data throughout the full, research-data lifecycle (data discovery; data processing; data analysis; data preservation and publishing).

With its vast network of service providers, DICE has been one of the most important sources of high-quality, reliable EUDAT research management services, and this will be the chance for participants to get to know these services better and acquire the skills needed to employ them effectively in their own work.

DICE is providing a group of experienced trainers to guide the students by combining traditional theoretical lessons with hands-on sessions in a hackathon format. Participants will also have the opportunity to benefit from the specialized trainers who were involved in the recent successful DICE Datathon focused on the handling of Sensitive Data.

DICE is not only involved in the scientific content of the Summer School but is also offering numerous travel and accommodation support grants to participants travelling to Finland to take part in this exciting event.
