Exemplary Digital Services Enabling Open Science

Group description

The EU-funded projects Cos4Cloud, TRIPLE, and CS3MESH4EOSC are tightly linked to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) initiative.

EOSC aims “to provide European researchers, decision-makers, innovators, companies and citizens with a federated and open multi-disciplinary environment where they can publish, find and reuse data, tools and services for research, innovation and educational purposes."

These three projects operate in different sectors of the wider Open Science landscape in Europe, focusing either on specific communities (e.g., Citizen Science, SSH), or on technical solutions (Science Mesh). They have brought forward Open Science enabling services via the EOSC Portal Marketplace, making the services also accessible outside the research community.
 

Our role

  • Development of a joint portfolio of research and innovation results
  • Mapping of relevant Stakeholders.
  • Creation of visual materials for joint activities and promotion.
  • Capacity building to improve the group's communication and dissemination skills (Definition of KPI, Presentation and Pitch Tips, Website and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Copywriting, Using Social Media, Newsletters, Promoting and Organising Events, policy brief and more).
  • Support for the production of a joint document highlighting the key services developed in the three projects for the benefit of Open Science.
  • Support for the creation of a promotional web page presenting the collaboration between the three projects.

The Horizon Results Booster (HRB) supports the effective transfer of research and innovation project results to policymakers, industry, and society by offering various services such as dissemination, exploitation strategy development, and business plan development to projects supported under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) or Horizon 2020 funding schemes related to the European Commission Priority areas. Trust-IT is one of the founding Partners of HRB and proudly delivers the Portfolio Dissemination services (Service 1, Module A and Module B).
